2015 was a great year for Prime. We got to work on some fantastic projects, here are some of my faves:
Yellow is the New Black
Celebrating the original figurehead of the champagne house, Veuve Clicquot; Yellow is the New Black paid tribute to the heritage of the house as well as the trailblazers of today. We were fortunate to work with some of Hong Kong’s leading ladies and men including Fiona Kotur, THE handbag that every woman should have on their arm; Bonnae Gokson, style doyenne and creator of culinary masterpieces Sevva and Ms B; Hing Chao, protector of Chinese heritage; Zing, Asia’s leading make-up artist; Vicky Lau, Asia’s best female chef and Victoria Tang, the creative force behind lifestyle emporium Tang Tang Tang Tang.
The campaign began by getting our trailblazers on board to design their very own yellow sheep which would be then showcased at Hong Kong’s hippest night spots to surprising the media with impromptu “Yellow” happy hours at their office. Finally the launch of Yellow is the New Black, which was to inspire people to not follow the crowd but be the leader for doing something cool, creative and unique, culminated with a party to end all parties at Armani Prive.
Share a Coke, Share a song
This summer we were in a tuneful mood as we launched Coca-Cola’s “Share a Coke, Share a Song” campaign. We initiated the idea to seed personalized Coke cans sporting some well loved song lyrics to celebrities and famous faces to create a buzz on social media before the cans could be found in store.
Pandora X Disney
In November we got to meet the world’s most famous mouse when Mickey came out to support the launch of Pandora’s new Disney collection to over 80 media.
Be Your Own Style
Targeting the hip male millennial, we played host to Z Zegna’s “Be Your Own Style” exhibition at ifc mall.
ghd goes platinum
Heads turned as we launched ghd’s hottest styler, the platinum. From product media launches to media engagement on the style truck, the beauty press were abuzz both on and offline.
Smiles all round as we launched Hong Kong’s first on the go teeth whitening salon, The Smile Bar.
Home is where Indigo is
We started work with Indigo Living in August and are in love (as are the media) with its fresh contemporary home style.
Doing our bit for charity
Working with the Hong Kong Cancer Fund, we kicked off breast cancer awareness month with a press conference at City Walk, with special guest appearance from the charity’s ambassador, Coco Lee. We went on to pull on our resources for Shop for Pink partners and enlisted the support of some of the city’s best known stylists and bloggers to come out and dress pink!
Meeting Mr Riedel
We were lucky enough to welcome back the head of the world’s leading wine glass brand, Georg Riedel of Riedel glassware to Hong Kong. We made sure that his time was well spent meeting some of the city’s most influential F&B press while he was in town for the annual Wine & Dine festival.
A Gentleman’s Wager
Johnnie Walker Blue Label launched its second instalment of its Gentleman’s Wager film series. Handling the HK premiere, we invited a cast of style setting stars to the event. Paying tribute to HK’s very own leading men, Prime worked with Johnnie Walker Blue Label to tribute a cohort of charismatic, style setting gentlemen, including Brandon Chau, Xuan Mu, Simon Wilson, Marco Chan and Bertrand Mak in a”Gentlemen’s Essential” exhibition, which was revealed at the star studded affair.
